LiDAR detection: see who enters a zone

CONTACT

A laser measures the environment in 3D. This allows you to monitor an entire zone, even in the dark. As an addition to your access control.

LiDAR

From a line to a zone

A fence sees a line. 3D LiDAR sees the entire zone: height, size, and direction of movement. A person or car triggers an alert; a cat does not.

LINE notification upon exceeding ZONE IN 3D position, size, direction
A line reports a violation. A 3D zone sees what is happening within the zone.

Frequently Asked Questions

About LiDAR detection

Does LiDAR work in the dark?

Yes. LiDAR measures with its own laser light and does not require ambient light.

What do rain, snow, and fog do?

These can influence the measurements. Therefore, we test at each location before an installation is finalized.

Does LiDAR see who someone is?

LiDAR detects shapes and movements. For verification, you connect a camera, which rotates to the correct location upon an alert.

What about privacy?

A point cloud shows shapes, not faces. Whether an installation complies with the GDPR depends on the configuration, the connections, and the retention period. We take this into account in the design.

Can I continue using my cameras and VMS?

Yes. LiDAR is an additional detection layer alongside your existing systems.

How do I start?

With a discussion about your property, followed by a test or pilot at your own location.

Discussing a pilotWe will look at your object together.
