4040(T) series

The strongest door closers are those from the 4040XP series. These are suitable for situations where doors are opened very frequently throughout the day. 1460(T) series

The 1460 series door closers are characterized by versatility. The closers are suitable for interior doors up to 1524mm or exterior doors up to 1219mm, and doors can be opened up to either 110° or 180°. With the 1460T series, the arm moves in a narrow rail attached to the door frame. The advantage is that nothing protrudes when the door is closed. This creates a more aesthetically pleasing appearance, especially for interior doors. This series is also available with various housings and finishes. Doors can be opened up to 115° as standard, but a version allowing openings up to 180° is also available. Another convenient feature is that the door can be secured at various opening angles.

Essex electronic code locks

Essex

For the safe and easy opening of doors, gates, etc., there is the Essex KE-265 electric code lock. This consists of an attractive and robust touch keypad on which a 3- to 8-digit code is entered. Ten million combinations are possible, ensuring that each code is unique. Five user codes and one programming code can be used.

Connections

Via the relay output with potential-free changeover contact, the user can control electric locks via the panel, as well as switch equipment on or off. One of the two inputs allows the code to be bypassed when a lock or machine is operated remotely. The system can be reset via the other input.

Reliability

The code lock is equipped with features that increase reliability. The codes are retained in the event of a power failure.
Additionally, it can be configured whether the lock is released (fail safe) or remains locked (fail secure) in the event of a power failure. The unlock time after entering the correct code can also be set in advance.

Versions

The Essex code lock operates on 12, 24, or 230V and is available with various touch keypads. For instance, there is also a variant with a doorbell. There are various integration options with other security systems, such as for CCTV surveillance. The panel operates in combination with a central unit. An electric strike plate, mounting materials, a slow-blow safety fuse, and a protective cover for the touch keypad are available separately or as a set.

Digital mechanical code locks

Digital

Keys are not convenient in all situations. A digital door lock or code lock can then be a good alternative. With the Digital series, we offer you a versatile range of mechanical code locks.

If you want the benefits of opening doors without keys, but with extensive management and control functions, take a look at the Flash or Flex System.

Vortex: hybrid locking

Vortex combines electromagnetic and mechanical locking in one compact solution. This enables a much higher holding force than with standard magnetic locks, while maintaining monitoring and signaling. Sellox supplies Vortex solutions for situations where standard magnetic locking is insufficient.

Vortex

For doors and entrances with higher locking requirements, Vortex offers a powerful alternative. The technology combines magnetic locking with mechanical securing and is available in surface-mounted, flush-mounted, and compact versions.

Server cabinets & data centers

The VX CL215 is the compact version within the Vortex family. Within Sellox, this model is primarily used in data centers, particularly on server cabinets and similar applications where limited installation space is available yet robust locking is desired.

Hybrid locking

Electromagnetic and mechanical locking with a holding force of more than 15,000N

Mechanical lock

The mechanical lock engages as soon as an unauthorized opening is detected.

Signaling

Door position signaling and early warning (EW=Early Warming) when abnormal force is detected on the door.

Locking pin

The locking pin has built-in play so that the door always closes properly.

Door lock

Two models are available for maximum holding force. The VX1982-35.5 is the recessed variant for slimmer profiles and neat integration into the door profile. The VX2400LP is the surface-mounted variant. Both models offer a maximum holding force of 15,000+ N (~1,500+ kg).
