Sensors report wirelessly via the gateway. The dashboard applies the alarm rules and knows which cylinder belongs to which door. Notifications are sent to your own systems via SXConnect.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    About IoT asset monitoring

How often does a sensor report in?

Every ten minutes. An alarm, like a door opening, is received immediately.

How long does a battery last?

That varies by sensor type. You will receive a notification well in advance if a battery needs to be replaced.

    Is a camera watching?

No. The sensors measure door status, movement and climate.

Own network or that of a provider?

Both are possible. A dedicated gateway often provides the best coverage in tunnels and technical rooms.

Can I receive the notifications in my own system?

Yes, via SXConnect, the integration with your own IT and business systems. We determine which integration is suitable on a project-by-project basis.

Can it work together with CyberLock?

Yes. The corresponding cylinder is listed next to each door on the dashboard.
